Caresoft’s execution methodology is characterized by 3 major aspects: Efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility at meeting and exceeding customer expectations. This is achieved by customized engagement models tailor-made to suit each customer’s unique requirements.
Caresoft’s engagement models have been developed to fit varying business models and are aimed at providing a clear value proposition for its customers. The objective of the engagement model would be to provide quality service to the customers at optimum levels, while fine-tuning the level of commitment, control, the investment required (both time and money) and the cost savings generated through offshore economics for different projects.
We work collaboratively with our customers. Caresoft establishes partnerships, not customer-vendor relationships. Throughout every engagement, we observe the following guidelines:
- Engage our experts (Business Analysts, Account Managers, Program Managers and Subject Matter Experts) to work directly with the customer
- Keep cost and quality always in focus -- We focus on delivering it right the first time as opposed to reworking to get to the right solution
- Ensure customer participation throughout the engagement cycle
- Set up processes, checks and balances in our systems to ensure quality and timely delivery.
We offer three distinct engagement models for project execution: OnSite, OffShore, and Onsite-Offshore.
Onsite:
In the Onsite model, the entire project execution is performed at the customer’s preferred location. A dedicated project execution team is delegated onsite to understand and execute the project. Throughout the project, the Onsite team interacts closely with the customer and ensures satisfactory delivery before the project is handed off and closed. Although this model might not entail substantial cost savings, the customer believes that this model will have the least re-work due to constant supervision and interaction with the onsite engineer.

Onsite-Offshore:
In this combination model, although Caresoft recommends a 20-80 execution for cost savings, it is entirely the customer’s choice to decide on their preferred model once they are presented with the options.

Here again, a dedicated execution team is formed based on the project requirements and an onsite team is sent to the customer location to do a due diligence as well as for knowledge transfer. The onsite engineer interacts face-to-face with the customer continually and simultaneously coordinates with the offshore team via conference calls, thus reducing ambiguity, miscommunication and re-work. The customer’s time and effort in project management is significantly reduced, as the onsite engineer takes responsibility for coordination and knowledge transfer/sharing with the offshore team.
Offshore:
In this model, the entire project execution is done offshore and brings about significant cost savings of at least 40%. A two-shift operation is followed to provide 24/7 support and to reduce design cycle time. Caresoft has approximately 200 associates working in 3 Offshore Development Centres (ODC) in India at Chennai, Coimbatore and Pollachi. The execution team is formed based on the skill-requirement matrix and it is ensured that the team of professionals dedicated to the project during the engagement period has excellent know-how on the latest technology in the domain, thus bringing about constant technical and cost improvements. Caresoft has access to domain knowledge, expertise and infrastructure and hence has the capacity to ramp-up and operate several ODCs at a time.
