• A relevant manufacturing /engineering degree is preferred
• Must have 5+ years of relevant experiences in the automotive field
• Experience of working in the Quality Assurance
• Must have strong Experience in any CAD Tools such as CREO / CATIA / other Reverse engineering software
• Experience in direct dealing with suppliers
• Speaking Additional Indian languages will be added as an advantage

Roles & Responsibilities

General and Task Management:

• Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes (Supplier Evaluations)
• Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity, and fulfillment ensuring suppliers can meet requirements for performance and Caresoft business requirements
• Drive improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards, and own supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, whilst driving systematic problem solving and process improvement plans to deliver value
• Track the supplier’s performance indicators, based on their scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations
• Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier yield, field cost, field defect rate, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure
• Specify, develop, and validate advanced technology, quality information
• Specify and develop product acceptance/test procedures that relate to a complex process (state-of-the-art) or highly complex product
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to sourcing and development of suppliers with respect to technology, performance, quality, cost, logistics, and delivery
• Provide leadership during investigations of major problems and or special projects focusing on developing working relationships with suppliers
• Responsible for leading the solution for supplier component concerns, driving Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Work with Execution (System Leads / Managers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements
• Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities
• Write reports and present progress at project meetings
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact

Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
• Communicate efficiently throughout the procurement and directly with customer’s/supplier’s management
• A diplomatic approach to relationships

 People Management

• Support Internal team / Suppliers
• Interact with Support functions for coordination and arrangements

 Business Confidential:

• Marinating and Monitoring the confidential subjects across the suppliers
• Review and Take Actions for Supplier Audit results (Conformance / Non-Conformance to QMS)
• Maintain the Risk and Safety / Security assessment book and Mitigation plans
