Job Description

A graduate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Automobile or equivalent from a reputed college.

Roles & Responsibilities

    • Support by providing Technical/Tool support 3D/2D to the team members
    • Managing the Project from Planning to delivery
    • Effectively manage the offshore team
    • Mentoring the Team for meeting delivery targets
    • Proactively communicate with the top management on the status/support
    • Planning and assigning work to the team & manage shifts accordingly
    • Monitoring the team performance & Mentoring team on efficiency & quality
    • Create the documentation for the team
    • Maintain the Project tracker & create estimation for execution
    • To ensure the timesheet filling for the team
    • Co-ordination within the team & Inter team ensuring Quality deliverables
    • Work and share the additional workload of leads
    • Training plan for the team

Requirements

    • Proven experience in the Automotive domain with 8-12 years of handling a team of a minimum of 10+ members with good Project Management capabilities
    • Should possess Automotive knowledge on most or any systems on Automotive Vehicle with Design, Manufacturing & Vehicle assembly
    • Should be strong in engineering knowledge, various materials and manufacturing process & quality tools
    • Should possess BOM management skills, VAVE knowledge, and Process adherence skills
    • Good problem solving, solid analytical competency, and strong communication skills
    • Expertise in 3D CAD model & 2D CAD drawings in the following software. Catia V5/Pro E/UG (Surface, Part, Assembly, and Drawing Creation)
    • Experience in any one or more of the PLM/PDM software such as Team Center, Windchill/Interlink would be preferred.
    • Proven Experience in Team management with Good project management capability & documentation skills meeting delivery schedules
    • Should be Dynamic in working based on Project importance & individual working ability
    • Should possess Good Interpersonal skills, teamwork, proactive communication
    • Policies & Procedures – demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Preference would be given to those who have worked in multiple disciplinary & Reverse engineering projects esp. from OEM / Tier 1
