• Proven experience in the Automotive domain in handling a team of a minimum of 10+ members with good Project Management capabilities
• Should possess Automotive knowledge on most or any systems on Automotive Vehicle with Design, Manufacturing & Vehicle assembly

• CAD tool experience in Surface and Sheet metal and Casting Modelling from any of the CAD tool (Creo, UG-NX, Catia)

• Knowledge of product development and release of TcAE and product life cycle management
• He / She will be responsible for current and new product design, ensuring the detail and assembly drafting as per ASME / ANSI or customer standards, and support/implementation of engineering change orders. Participates in team activities in continuous improvement.
• Preparation of engineering drawings for the projects to include: preliminary design, calculations, GD&T, and manufacturing feasibility
• Preference would be given to those who have worked in multiple disciplinary & Reverse engineering projects esp. from OEM / Tier 1

Roles & Responsibilities

• Detail study on the provided inputs for automotive systems
• Create and maintain the Project tracker & create estimation for execution
• Do the project planning and resource planning
• Planning and assigning work to the team & manage shifts accordingly
• Create the documentation for the team – Quality, Time, and efficiency
• Support by providing Technical/Tool support 3D/2D to the team members
• Do the Peer quality check for the completed CAD
• Monitoring the team performance & Mentoring team on efficiency & quality
• Work and share the additional workload of leads
• To ensure the timesheet filling for the team
• Managing the Project from Planning to delivery
• Effectively manage the offshore team and outsourcing team
• Mentoring the Team for meeting delivery targets
• Proactively communicate with the top management on the status/support
• Co-ordination within the team & Inter team ensuring Quality deliverables
• Training plan for the team
